Frost ADVISORY issued for Lethbridge, Taber, Milk River, Cardston, Fort Macleod, Claresholm, Pincher Creek, Waterton, Crowsnest, Vulcan, Brooks, Medicine Hat areas.

Widespread frost is expected again tonight across much of Alberta. There will be less cloud cover tonight across northern regions, leading to a hard freeze. In the south, cloud and falling snow will limit how much frost actually forms on outdoor surfaces, however, temperatures will be at or below zero degrees.

The frost advisory program for this year ends on September 30th.

Frost advisories are issued when temperatures are expected to reach the freezing mark during the growing season, leading to potential damage and destruction to plants and crops.
