The provincial government has created a new website as part of its Red Tape Reduction Action Plan.
It aims to crowd source input from businesses, organizations, and the public on which government regulations should be improved, kept, or scrapped.
Taber-Warner MLA Grant Hunter is the Associate Minister of Red Tape Reduction.
He says the regulatory burden in Alberta is unnecessary and he wants to hear ideas on how the government can make it easier to do business and create jobs in this province.
Albertans are encouraged to share their red tape stories at www.CutRedTape.alberta.ca.
